In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn about the traditional and tactile art of letterpress printing. In pairs you will create a custom card using vintage metal type and a selection of relief image plates, which I will print on my Heidelberg Press. You will learn about composing and setting type, and preparing a chase for printing. You’ll see the machine in action and leave with a set of unique cards, perfect for personal use or gifting.
No prior experience with letterpress is required. All materials provided.
